There's been some confusion about whether persons above the age of 18 are allowed to use their cell phones while driving. Here's a link.
Does this clear it up? I don't know. If you take the letter of the law, then it would appear that even speed dialing would be illegal since that's technically data entry. I suppose the safest would be to use voice activation.
